Stone was loved by an amazing family and given the best life any breeder could hope for when placing a puppy. He fought a great fight and his family went above and beyond to save him. He will live on thru his litter mates and the litter of puppies born 3/2/2022, the day of his passing. The below is from a post made by his owner: Mirko Triossi

Almost six years ago I came to pick you up in America and today I'm coming to pick you up this ballot box. Gone too soon infamous..... poisoned!

We will never forget you good boy.

The will of a dog

1. My material possessions are few and I leave them all to you.

2. I leave you my red collar on one of the ends, a messy couch and a water container with a broken edge.

3. I leave you half of the rubber ball (the other half I ate and digested), a broken doll you will find under the fridge, a rubber mouse behind the cupboard, in the kitchen and many bones buried in the rose vase in the garden and next to my bug it.

4. Also, I leave you my memories, which are many and very beautiful.

5. Just a little reminder: my huge, loving brown eyes, a sharp tail and a weak walk behind the door as you were going to work.

6. I also leave you a stain on the carpet in the living room, by the window. I did it when, on winter evenings, I fit in that place, as if it were my own. In summer, on the other hand, I liked to roll around in the garden like a ball to get some sun. I leave you that ray of sunshine too.

7. I leave you the blanket I flew from America to Italy that my first mom and dad gave me in front of your favorite chair... I chewed it when I was 5 months old, do you remember?

8. I'll leave you alone, the noise I made running on the leaves of autumn when we walked in the middle of the field.

9. I'll leave you too, the memory of the good times in the morning, when we walked together along the river bank and you gave me my favorite cookies.

10. I leave you the memory of your laughter when I couldn't reach the geese and chickens.

11. I inherit you my loyalty, my sympathy, even my morbidity, my support when things went wrong and my barking when I heard strange noises and I see other dogs....

12. Never been to church and never heard a sermon. However, even though I never said a word in my entire life, I leave you my example of love, patience and understanding.

13. I can't, however, leave you the most precious thing to me... I can't leave you because it was YOU !!! But I'm sure you'll understand

14. I leave my thanks to you and I hope your life will be happier... with me by your side. "
